Chris Sanders, Director

Chris Sanders is a Kentucky native with an unbridled passion for using technology to help people in need. Chris has devoted a great deal of time and effort to technology-centered community service. These projects include the development of a software package for use in student-operated banks and the creation of a technology resource portal for special education teachers and students. These projects have earned awards and recognition, including the Kentucky State Media Association Student Technology Award and the Crowe Chizek Award for Innovation and Excellence.

Professionally, Chris works as network security analyst for the United States Department of Defense and Honeywell where he interfaces with various government and commercial entities in order to provide a more secure cyber posture for those networks. Chris is an accomplished technical author and researcher. His book “Practical Packet Analysis” is widely respected as one of the authoritative practical use books on its topic and has sold several thousand copies internationally. He has contributed to dozens of industry publications and websites and holds many industry certifications including distinction as a CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, MCITP, and others. Chris holds a bachelors degree in telecommunications from Murray State University.

Eddie Dillon, Board Member

Eddie Dillon is a software developer in Western Kentucky. Since 1999, he has worked as Lead Programmer Analyst for Texas Roadhouse, and as Head Programmer for KeeFORCE, and he is currently employed as a Software Programmer for Ag Connections of Murray, KY. He and a team of developers provide software solutions to aid farmers in crop production. Eddie writes software for the Agriculture industry with a team of developers on an international software product.

Tim O’Neill, Board Member

Tim O’Neil is an independent technology consultant with over 35 years of experience. He was a founder of ClearSight Networks, and has worked with companies including Navtel, Network General and Ganymede in WAN, ISDN, ATM and LAN test markets.

Tim is also the chief Technology and Contributing Editor for LoveMyTool.com, a website helping network managers access valuable network technology information and real solution stories. He is a popular speaker on Internet safety and holds a number of patents. Consulting clients include movies, law enforcement, emergency services and industry. In 1976, Tim helped design and market the first DataScope.

Jenny Conley, Administrative Assistant

Jenny Conley was born and raised in rural Tennessee. She is a 2003 graduate of Tennessee Technological University where she earned a bachelors degree is in psychology. Although her degree was in psychology, Jenny had already entered the world of banking as a way to work her way through college and never left, now boasting over ten years experience in commercial and retail lending. She currently serves on the IT committee and is the software administrator for the lending platform of the bank in which she is currently employed.

Personally, Jenny is a happily married mother of two and is a very active member of her community and her church. She regularly volunteers in Cub Scouts and in the CBSA baseball league. Her hobbies include RVing and taking cruises with her family. Jenny is a recent addition to the Rural Technology Fund staff and is very excited about the chance to help connect rural area students to opportunities in the technology field.
