Through DonorsChoose.org, the RTF sent ten Arduino Uno kits to a rural high school in Illinois!
A note from the teacher:
Dear Rural Technology Fund,
Thank you! It is hard to find the words for my gratitude towards your donation to help my students. I try and implement the digital electronic lessons in order to motivate students to think and understand the world and career opportunities around them. The Arduino is to help develop a love of programming and microcontrollers. The course helps students see the ranges and connections of the engineering field. With the budget cuts for schools across the nation, your generosity to give back will enable students to explore a passion and learn for years to come. I will keep you posted on the progress of the lessons come this coming fall. Thank you!
